This set is part of The Good Cloth Project, our collection of artist-designed sponge cloths that support impact-driven nonprofits.
These cloths are designed and printed in Canada, featuring original artwork by Canadian illustrator Lyndsay Wasko. The material comes from the original Swedish dishcloth manufacturer and patent holder and is made from 70% cellulose from FSC-certified forests and 30% cotton offcuts.

What is a Swedish Sponge Cloth?
These 100% natural and compostable cloths are capable of holding 15 times their weight in water, they are highly absorbent and quick-drying, leaving you amazed at how odor-free they remain. Replace your paper towels and plastic sponges with this eco-friendly alternative!

How to Use Your Swedish Sponge Cloth
- Soak in Water: Soften the cloth by soaking it in water, cloths become stiff when try but are pliable when wet!
- Versatile Cleaning: Use it as you would a paper towel or regular sponge to wipe counters, scrub dishes, clean appliances, wipe windows, polish surfaces, and more!
How to Clean Your Cloth
- Dishwasher: Place your sponge cloth in the top rack and wash it with your dishes.
- Washing Machine: Throw your sponge cloth in the washing machine with any load, at any temperature, and hang to dry (do not tumble dry).
- Boiling Water: Place your sponge cloth in a pot full of water on the stove and boil to sanitize it.
